Jan 7, 2014i am migrating my database from sqlserver to mysql when i come to getdate() function in sqlserver the replacement in mysql is now() but now() not returned the exact result and format that. Is there a php function that returns the date and time in the same format as the mysql function now()? In mysql i'd use now() but it isn't accepting that.

The only date/time function i can find is now() and searches relative to that, i.e. The only problem with this is that now () is time specific so there is no way of getting a particular day's created.
